What installation covers

You choose the bathroom. We handle every stage of putting it in.

Installing a bathroom isn't just connecting a toilet and a basin. The pipes, cables, boards and waterproofing behind the walls decide whether it still looks and works the same in ten years.

Our installation service starts before anything is delivered, with a check of your product list, and finishes with a commissioned shower, a tested electrical installation and a clean room. If you'd rather we source the products too, we can do that as part of a complete bathroom renovation.

One price, itemised. Every fixture, square metre of tiling and electrical point is listed in your written proposal.

Fitting products you've bought

We fit bathrooms bought anywhere, after checking them first

Most installation problems start with a product that was never going to suit the house. Ten minutes with your basket list saves days on site.

Send us the product list or a link to your basket before the survey. We go through it line by line and flag anything that won't work in your home before you've paid for it, or while you can still return it.

  • UK water approval. Taps, valves and showers must carry a WRAS, KUKreg4 or NSFreg4 approval. Some cheap imports don't, and by law they can't be connected to your supply.
  • Water pressure. Many thermostatic valves and rain heads need mains-pressure water. On a tank-fed gravity system they can run as a trickle, so we check your system first.
  • Sizes and fixings. Tray and bath dimensions against the room, waste positions against the soil stack, and whether the wall can take a wall-hung WC or vanity.
  • Complete deliveries. Everything needs to be on site, unpacked and checked at least five working days before we start, so a missing bracket doesn't stop the job.

If something arrives damaged or wrong, we tell you straight away and help you sort the replacement with the retailer. Product warranties stay between you and the shop. Our 12-month guarantee covers our workmanship.

Plumbing and electrics

Pipes moved and tested, electrics installed and certified

A new layout often means new pipe runs and new circuits. Both are done by the people qualified to do them, and both are tested before the walls close up.

  • Supplies and wastes. New runs for a moved basin, bath or shower, with isolation valves on every fitting and a pressure test before boxing in.
  • Soil connections. A toilet can usually move within reach of the existing soil stack. Moving the stack itself is priced after a survey.
  • Part P electrical work. Anything near a bath or shower is notifiable, so a qualified electrician installs and tests it, and the work is notified to building control.
  • RCD protection. Bathroom circuits need 30 mA protection. If your fuse board doesn't have it, we price a consumer unit upgrade before work starts.
  • Lighting, fans and heating. IP-rated downlights, extractor fans with run-on timers, shaver sockets, LED mirrors and electric underfloor heating.

Bathroom furniture installation

Vanity units, cabinets and storage that stay level and dry

Wall-hung furniture looks effortless when it's fixed properly. That work happens at first fix, long before the unit comes out of its box.

  • Wall-hung vanity units. Fixed into masonry or into timber noggins we add inside stud walls, so the unit can carry a full basin and someone leaning on it.
  • Mirror cabinets. Surface-mounted or recessed into a stud wall, with the LED lighting and demister wired before the tiles go on.
  • Tall storage and shelving. Freestanding or wall-fixed units scribed to uneven London walls and floors.
  • Concealed cistern frames. Frames for wall-hung toilets and basins set to height, then boxed in and tiled with a removable access panel.

Questions

Bathroom installation: what people ask before booking

Something else on your mind? Send us your details and ask.

Do you install bathrooms bought online?

Yes. We regularly fit suites from online retailers, high-street stores and showrooms. Send us the product list before the survey and we'll check every item suits your water system and your room before it's delivered.

How much does bathroom installation cost in London?

Installation only starts from £6,200 for a compact shower room or en-suite, and a typical family bathroom comes to around £8,200. That covers strip-out, plumbing, electrics, waterproofing, tiling and fitting, but not the products you've bought.

What happens if a product arrives damaged or wrong?

We check everything when it arrives, at least five working days before the start date. If something is damaged, missing or the wrong size, we tell you straight away so you can claim a replacement from the retailer before it holds up the job.

Will my new shower work with my water pressure?

It depends on your hot water system. Many rain heads and thermostatic valves need mains-pressure water and perform poorly on a tank-fed system. We check your system at the survey and suggest a suitable valve or a pump before you buy.

Can you install just the toilet and basin without retiling?

For a small swap, yes, as long as the existing tiles and walls are sound. Our minimum job is £3,000, so most clients combine it with other work. If the tiles behind need to come off, we'll show you why at the survey.

Who handles warranty claims on the products?

Product warranties are between you and the retailer or manufacturer, and we'll help with the details if something fails. Our 12-month workmanship guarantee covers everything we did, including joints, seals, tiling and electrical work.
